Millions of children and adults are diagnosed with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. Learning to live with ADD can be a challenge. For children and teenagers with ADHD, being inattentive, active, and forgetful can create problems at home and in school. For adults with ADD, learning to navigate the workplace and form relationships can be a special challenge.

Parents can learn to encourage friendships for their ADD child, form an Individualized Education Plan, and the cause of ADD. Parents can also research how to have ADD properly diagnosed and learn about the other problems that often "tag along" with ADD. Learning to cope with relaxation techniques or with medication are some of the many options available to treat ADD.
